Have you ever seen on Facebook that someone like something and it is showing on your wall.Same feature is now to Google plus that if someone in your circle +1 any of the post then it will visible on your main stream.
Actually,the +1 post will be shown to the main stream of the people who can see the original post to their streams.If your make a post for friends only then obviously it won't show to the public.If someone +1 that post then it will show to your mutual friends only,not the outsiders.Control Your Feeds
For instance if you do not want to know that someone +1 that post then follow the steps to make it mute.
- Hover your mouse over the post.
- Click the

- Select "Mute Post" from drop down menu
For Laptop/Desktop users
- Hover your mouse over the top left of the screen to open the Google+ main navigation.
- Select
Settings.
- Scroll down to the Apps and activities section and click Manage apps and activities.
- Select the Google tab at the top.
- Click edit located under Visible to.
- Choose a circle from the dropdown, or click Custom to include many circles and/or individual people.
- When you're finished, click Save.
For android users
- Go to

- Touch Sharing.
- Touch +1s from posts.
- Choose a circle from the list, or touch Or pick people and circles to include many circles and/or individual people. If you don't want anyone to see your activity updates, click Only you.
- Touch OK button when you're finished.
For iOS users

Conclusion
Google Plus is making updates and enhancing the user experience by its unique UI and features.But,still it needs more improvements to beat some of the top social networkings.
